DEWALT DW758 8-Inch Bench Grinder
Having recently purchased the DeWalt DW758 workbench grinder for usage in my shop, i will say it is surely a beneficial price. The ¾ HP capacitor-start motor arises to speed quickly, runs smoothly with constant rate and sufficient energy for the majority of any milling need. Overall, its a very good heavy-duty general-use grinder.
The stamped metallic wheel protections are not as durable or easy to eliminate while the cast iron guards on other manufactures more expensive designs. The DW758’s protections have screws at the top and base, as opposed to privately, that could be hard to eliminate when the grinder is attached to a bench. A tiny right-angle “Yankee” ratcheting screwdriver makes bottom screw removal easier and much more practical than unbolting the grinder from the bench to change rims. This probably will not actually an issue for many people, because of the relative durability and infrequent altering of grinding rims with typical usage.
